A measured time duration.

Apart from the circularity of defining a time notion using “duration” (or for that “extension”), we also have a problem with measurement. Taking due account of the relativity problems with clocks, time measured by clocks is adequate for local physical phenomena. But the connection with physiological, psychological, and possibly social time is still quite obscure. See Time of a system (internal)“.
